Don't give up! I have spinal myelopathy and both my hands and right foot are numb from spinal myelopathy 24/7 and can't feel the sticks 100% more like 60% that's mainly the reason I need the rachet...

Also those servos look like hites 55 even the tail, You want a S9650 digital on the tail and hitec 65mg's on the cycl. good gyro futaba 401. Good luck buddy.

Take the guess work out and get one of these. Pretty light and gives you info up the ying yang....Easy to put on and take off after you dial in your heli or find...

I like to auto once in a while, Just make sure you into the wind and come down way faster than a powered landing. I feel like I'm around -2 or -3 degrees in relation to my stick. At about 5-6 feet...

Sounds like a muffler bearing, LoL j/k. Could be auto rotation bearing, mine go out once in a while and make that noise sometimes. Could be almst anything though/........

Also both top and bottom holes are drilled in the same direction parallel to each other that will give you an idea where the bottom hole is at in relation to...

I usually put the main shaft through the bearings in the frame and spin it with my thumb WITHOUT the gear or the head. You would be surprized what you see. I have actually eye balled...
