when you open up the hole using a soldering iron to cut the covering, a piece of the left over covering can get in the tube

make sure you clear that opening... take an exacto and go around the...

the recommendations on most motors are guides based on testing. its also based on what equipment was run with them (ESC, plane weight, etc)

the Omega 72g works very well on 11x5.5 with a 35 amp...

I have owned both the Funtana and 260.... they are decent planes.... votes go to the Edge in flight and durability especially when it comes to landing gear

i guess I can offer that as my opinion...

Green 40" Edge is most likely gone for good (limited quantities were shipped to ADC Hobby but they are gone now)

There are a few guys selling some previously flown green ones if you want to buy...

yep, the slick is awesome and available in multiple sizes 42", 51" (just was reschemed), 59" on its way at end of March, 71" ( just reschemed and replaced the 70"), 89" and new 104"

can be flown...

I do now. the first Edges (40") were picked up by people like myself that were walking away from something like the EFlite extra 480 3D and the big mistake many make is thinking "small plane....easy"...

55 Edge was discontinued... 57 Extra is listed as available in yellow/blue...

both would use same equipment... 57 Extra has added benefit of being very precise and 3D.... like flying a foamie...

The new Ordering system for 3DHS places a "not for sale" in place of Backorder in many cases. in the case of 51 Slicks and 47 Edges stuff is in the works on them

yep, here is the part where I think I am dumb. the 3/16 wire is half the size of the 3/8" diameter opening. How does one have the wire centered inside the strut tube?

I have my 3/16 diameter wire that I made 1 3/4" stubs with, and I have my 3/8" diameter robostruts

How am I keeping them from moving around inside?
