My first plane was a Jr Falcon. My radio equipment was a Controlaire Mark II Mule transmitter, Kit built Regen receiver and Bonner escapement.

I have an E-Flite Tribute and found it to be easy to fly; much easier than a GWS P-51 Mustang.
You do want to have some stick time with a trainer such as a GWS E-Starter first.

They run about $5.00 each.

Have you mapped and calibrated your controller?
Also your controller may default to digital mode so you would have to switch it to analog mode, see your instructions

Yes, you do have to remove the solder bridge used for the channel selection.

Take care installing your switch making sure it doesn't interfere with the throttle and if you use a long nose pliers...
