RE: Evader RTR - How best to slow it down?

RE: H9 Aresti 40 Flaperons

Move the CG back a bit. Mine flies great at the recommended CG. Careful, though, move it back too far and it will drop a wing. I installed the battery under the turtledeck to fix the CG with a OS...

RE: Evader RTR - How best to slow it down?

RE: Evader RTR - How best to slow it down?

Hey, u-dud, that's a good idea. Too bad I gave away most of my crap-o-la Shark packs. I'll remember that if I get a 6-cell buggy. The Tamyia uses the silly 8-cell AA packs.

I miss my E-Maxx. ...

RE: Evader RTR - How best to slow it down?

Hahaha... We got these Nikkos at sears clearance at least 15 years ago. They were pretty slow. She just likes to putt around with them. The E-Maxx we had was way too fast for her. She kept...

RE: Evader RTR - How best to slow it down?

I read your gearing article, so I got the overheating issue down pat. I'm not stuck on the Evader. I missed the difference that the Pro has stronger graphite parts, but I do like the improved ESC...

Evader RTR - How best to slow it down?

This may sound silly. I need to replace my wife's old old old nikko buggy. I think top speed on this thing was maybe 5 mph, but it was pretty reliable and very difficult to break at that speed. ...

RE: TT 46 on Aresti With Tuned Pipe/Setting

Did you reinforce the aresti's tail feathers? Be careful. Mine is still in one piece, but they can break if overstressed at high speed. (ya ya this is an old thread, but what the heck...)

Very sorry you lost your plane. I just put two up for sale in classified. New in box. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish I had time to build and fly them.

RE: can't find the recommended 11x10 break in prop anywhere

Such utter nonsense. What's so magic about APC during break-in?

that's much better.

RE: Subscribed Thread Changes?

I'm getting dozens of subscription emails for threads I'm not subscribed to. If this is what you're referring to, perhaps it's not fixed yet?

The best 4 stroke

Sport_Pilot, my initial experience with the TT 91 FS was very positive.

Problem 1: of the two, one arrived with the cam gear one or two teeth off. This caused the engine to run poorly at throttle...

Why only Sig for Scale Cubs?

Mike,

So true. For some craft, an exact scale model would fly terribly.

Re: Great Planes J-3 CUB KIT

I can't say that it's one of the better ones because it's the only one I've built. But I certainly like it. A fellow flyer flys a 1/4 scale cub at my field and it's VERY nice. He doesn't remmeber...
