Actually I don't believe that is 100% true. I'm only monkeying what I read somewhere but:
I believe the springs/shocks are different. Stiffer and less travel.
Also the a-arms are different....

wow! just got my DT back together. With the stock motor and 2s lipo, it rips! I don't think the slash goes as fast with a Lipo. I'll have to compare them side-by side tommorow.

my previous post contains my temps. But my stock ESC doesnt really get hot. The battery venom 7.2V 3300mah-gets 150f, and the stock motor 150-170F. i get about 10-15 min of run time bashing....
