I dont do monos alot for sure but this is a question. Could his strut/stinger angle be wrong, meaning in the corners his prop gets a chance to unload and as soon as he straightens out his prop loads...

The boat looks great. I would suggest if using an exhaust throttle you better make sure that all the wood is sealed on the inside, the pics make the inside wood look unsealed and if that is the case...

A 40" rigger is huge, that I would guess is either gas or a F Hydro. The tub length on my D Hydro is 33" thats why I guess what I did.
