RE: Serious about a PDC-10...then click here

I already have started the KE equivalent, it won't be "exactly" the same as the PDC-10 but very similar. To start with I'll make the rudder only control, from there I will add elevator control to...

RE: Serious about a PDC-10...then click here

Name...

You want a DB9 for...

RE: Commercial Headtracker

Toys are here, working on a bench-top prototype as I type. We'll see how it works. One limitation of accelerometers is they sense over 180 degrees, when you go past the 180 you start over at the...

RE: Commercial Headtracker

First thing that jumps out at me is the cost comparison I just did, the magnetic sensor has a lot more discrete components associated with it. It had a lot higher refresh frequency then I expected. I...

RE: Commercial Headtracker

I definitly planned on there being a giant re-centering button somewhere, just in case anything gets outta whack or the pilot wants to lock the camera back at its home position. Using accelerometers...

RE: Commercial Headtracker

I already said accelerometers, what more do you need as far as technical side goes? Currently plan on using a 2 or 3 axis accelerometer, possibly with the assistance of a gyro, but I doubt it. The...
