RE: Kyosho NeXXt

Electronics are super cheap these days. I'd prefer to build the car though. Just glad its available as an option. :D Although I probably will not be buying this buggy!

RE: 1/8th Buggy basher

I would get the Vorza. It can hold up to a bashing and still be competitive with a few minor tweaks.

The Associated is not the strongest thing out there (I have an RC9T), and the VE8 I wouldn't...

RE: ever going dispute electric or nitro?

Was a huge nitro guy, then went to Gas, but when lipos/brushless started becoming more mainstream, I am now back to electric. Battery technology seems to keep increasing, while the piston engine can...

RE: Flux 5T conversion

Can you run the batteries in between the chassis plates? Like over the driveshaft?

RE: SPARROWHAWK XXT

For those interested int the XXT, be sure to check out the Sparrowhawk XT forum. Its a solid truck, but parts support could be better (I only order from one place)

RE: Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk XT

I'm not sure about Australia, but I have ordered from Thundertiger4u and they had everything I needed and shipped fast. You really won't have to order often since the car is so strong. I only really...

RE: Need new shocks for Slash

I'm not too crazy about AE shocks. Personally, I think if someone wants the best. Kyosho RB5 shocks are the way to go.

However, I have the Slash specific big bores on another truck and they are...

RE: Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk XT

It's a good buggy. Race buggies like the Kyosho ZX-5 FS, Associated B44, and the likes are not really meant for bashing because they break a lot easier and require a little more maintenance. Going...

RE: Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk XT

Well, it depends on which car/truck. Generally, the Associated kits I had/have were meant for racing. I wouldn't say their cars/trucks are bulletproof but they are meant to handle better than most...

RE: Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk XT

You have it the other way around. TT owns AE. I don't have the XB, but I saw one at a hobbystore. Its similar to the XT so it should be a very tough basher. For pur racing, I'd get something else...

RE: Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk XT

Glad to hear the pinions fit. What is the diameter of your motor? I'm trying to see if my VXL motor is comparable as I'd like to gear down too.

RE: New BL Electric MT from Vantage Racing

It is a bit steep considering you can get a Sparrowhawk XT for $200 RTR, and you can still add your own Sidewinder system for $150. Now if its made into a short course truck, then there may be a...

RE: okay sc10 owners, i need some help here please..

Theres a mode where it puts the low voltage cutoff in place for lipos. I don't have the RTR version so I can't help ya there, but its a good idea to run with LVC on.

RE: most durable vehichle with no mods

Thats a good truggy, I used to have one long ago.

I also forgot to add that I've pretty much driven or owned every scale RC there is, from many manufacturers. 1/8th buggy/truggy is the only type...

RE: I am DONE with Traxxas motors

They just don't last compared to most RTR motors. Even my local track is considering a BL Slash class because people were burning up the Titan motors.
