These are clearly not the same motors... These are just comparisons with charts and data range that do not make much sense.. True difference between the motors are seen in their effiency and at...

RE: Motor for 40oz 3D plane?

I haven't got any experience on the Rimfire motors, but DualSky XM3536CA-8T with 12x6 APC thin-e prop would be a good choice for that airplane. It's a 990 kv motor and has a little more torque and is...

RE: BANTAM chargers

That looks like the Polyquest connector. Too big to be Align/DualSky. So the polyquest adapter (EAC123) for the BC-5 should do it.

RE: Advise on which li-po charger and balancer to buy

Bantam PB-5 and PB-6 balancers can be fitted with different balance adapters and therefore suit most lipo's in the market, without the need of making your own connectors.
All our clients have been...

RE: Hi amp lipo charger

Those don't have the balancer you're looking for. Take a look at the Bantam BC-8, it has a built-in balancer upto 8 cells+ lipo storage, lipo fast and lipo cycle options + it supports upcoming LiFe...

RE: Multiplex LN-5014 vs Triton Jr

I would also take the Bantam 301DX into consideration. It has all the same features and plus some more and should come into same price. It has very nice software and was tested to be even faster...

RE: How long will it take for a 10C lipo to charge when hooked up to a car battery

I think you have too high cut-off voltage on your ESC. Those cheap 10C batteries can't hold 3V voltage under high loads and I'd suggest you lower the cut-off voltage to 2,7 v or 2,5 v (sounds like...

RE: Motor problems on Zagi

Running-in brushed motors will make the brushes have better contact (they will contour the communicator better) and therefore a little more power and longer life for the brushes. So if you have run...

RE: Motor problems on Zagi

Have you checked the connections between the battery and the ESC ? Loose connections might cause a lot of resistance and therefore voltage drop. Also have you checked the battery voltage ? It just...

RE: Motor problems on Zagi

What kind of battery are you using with it and how old is the battery ? Also what is the cut-off voltage on the ESC and can it be adjusted? Does this happen only at the full throttle ?
It might be...

RE: Need charger for 5S packs...suggestions welcome.

Take a look at the Bantam BC-5 and BC-8. They have built-in balancers and have adapters for most lipo balancing connectors. BC-5 is for 5 cells max. and BC-8 is for max. 8 cells, BC-8 has support for...

RE: Balancing batteries

There are seperate balancers that you can use with your current charger like Bantam PB-5 and PB-6 and Hyperion LBA10 (your charger must have Lipo charging).

Also there are chargers with built-in...

RE: Balancing batteries

Balancing can prevent overcharging cells and also over discharging them. Over charging can cause a cell to overheat and catch fire, over discharging will make the cell life a lot shorter. So...

RE: BANTAM chargers

If the NiMH batteries haven't been used for a long time, then you can revive them by charging and discharging them 3 times. 501DX supports up to 5 charge/discharge cycles. But if the batteries have...

RE: BANTAM chargers

Have you tried that the charging wires are ok ? Bad connection could cause that it shows voltage, but can't really deliver current. But I guess the charger would then give some error message. How...

RE: BANTAM chargers

Malcolm,

Does the charger detect the same number of cells that you put manually and then you accept that with enter ?

Also have you tried the charger with any other type of batteries ? And...

RE: BANTAM chargers

That's true. BC-5 doesn't have cycle functions. To get those and balancing functions you have to combine the PB-5 balancer with one of the 301-902 E-station chargers. They can be linked together to...
