Most CAs have a temperature limit of around 220F. The BSI product with the highest heat tolerance is the IC-2000 at 250F. Most epoxies have a limit of under 200F.

The Z-Poxy should not have gone bad. It has a good shelf life, along with BSI and Devcon, which is over five years. Epoxy can absorb moisture over time, so that is what you want to isolate it from....

Thank you for the comments, Frank. Bob produced fiberglass aircraft kits in the 70s and early 80s and has produced adhesives since 1982. I started working with him full time on the glues in 1989.

If an epoxy is made by BSI, it will always have the BSI logo on the back. We don't make the epoxies for GP, Tower, etc. The raw materials we use are too expensive for us to sell to them...
