RE: Airplane rudder gyro

Yes that is me and my son, with our AEROBATIC planes. Good way to show your intelligence there sport  A Midwest extra 300 and a Seagull's yak 54 are not even 3D planes. We fly aerobatics,...

RE: Airplane rudder gyro

First off, I said pretty much, not all. If you are going to take the time to quote and respond, at least keep it straight. shows a lack of short term memory on your part, or your wish to change...

RE: Airplane rudder gyro

Seems TOM's reply may have rubbed a couple of you the wrong way. While he may have across as a bit rude or gruff or what ever you want to call it, HE IS RIGHT!!! For all you scalers, you talk about...

RE: Experienced flyer poll

The guys at the field got to where they hated to see mine. I would get it up going slow, set the tx down, lite a smoke, or get a bite of that sandwhich I was working on, put it down, turn the plane,...

RE: Experienced flyer poll

There was no option for me. I handed mine to my 9 year old and taught him how to fly, then he out grew it. He's 11 now and starting to 3D and fly aerobatics so we converted the old tower trainer to a...

RE: FAA Decision Looms on Model Aircraft Regulations

In response, I know very well what is at stake here and do not take it lightly. My remark was merely meant to put a lil light heartedness in there. Didn't mean to offend anyone in any way.

RE: Holy grapes batman, MA did it again!!!

Bingo, lateral balance is one thing, but trying to weight out torque is whole other beast. I'm talking about when MA printed that upto and including a "roll of quarters" in a wing will stop a tip...

RE: Holy grapes batman, MA did it again!!!

Lots of good points brought up for sure. It just really bothers me that MA would publish this crap information like it is a normal thing to do. That is 180* from the truth. A new flier reading this...

RE: Holy grapes batman, MA did it again!!!

The only thing that should have a gyro is heli!!! I don't fly with mixes or rates, its all or nothing. Reversing is a different subject since it is a mandatory thing with different plane designs....

Holy grapes batman, MA did it again!!!

Several months ago, MA did an article on "anti-torque" devices. I personally see this as pure BS since the proper skills would eliminate the need for a "crutch" for landings and take offs. Now, in...

RE: Tip stalling remedies?

Wow, no body mentioned it yet. I read in MA that the way to stop tip stalls was to put a roll of quarters in the wing that falls first. It was in MA so it has to be the gospel, they wouldn't print...

RE: First Warbird

Lets not forget that according to MA, there has to be an anti-torque device in the wing so that it won't drop a wing on you in take off or landing. I think I remember that roughly a roll of quarters...

RE: What if....Becomes What is.....

I could be mistaken and will admit it,but it occurs to me,I though that Specktrum tested both DSS and the Fasst in the beginning and went with the DSS as it was a better technology. If that is...
