Thanks for the help. I could also rebuild them. where could I find 1 receiver, 5 motors, and 2 replacement fins. Or, if possible, is there a place that you can buy them completely assmebled?

add some weight to the nose. Add first a dime, if not better, then a penny. If for some strange reason that did not work, add a nickel then a quarter.

you break in the motors by running the SL at no more than half throttle for the 1st or 2nd flight. you could go more but, this is what I heard. It says how to break them in in the instruction manual...

This is about my AA jet motor problem.
How would I get the gunk out of the motor?
I put some lubricant (sp?) on the motor and it seems to not do anything.

Yeah, It makes sense to buy two and get a spare tail and transmitter.
btw, you can email them and buy the AA internals ,put together, for $19
