RE: UL-1 Superior Fixed?

Yeah, there's no reason not to buy one. They are a blast - they FLY across the water.

Buy one, you won't regret it.

Here's a photo of mine last summer:

To everyone that took the time (and expense) to convert their Mini Rio's to brushless, Aquacraft has been watching...

RE: Aqua Craft Motley Crew

I just tried a 1445 for the second time tonight and it's unusable. While it's the same diameter and pitch as the m445, it is NOT the same. It lifts the rear of the boat to the point where the bow...

RE: Aquacraft Motley Crew Video

Yup, it's the one AQ have been working on for a while now - just got mine today and REALLY want to go run it. I took a few things apart and did a little stuffing tube re-alignment, snugging up...

RE: What boat to buy?

Of those 3, the Impulse wins by a country mile. After that, the Proboat Mystic catamaran would be a FAR better choice than the Blackjack - the steerable outdrive on the BJ26 will steal power and/or...

RE: SV 27 Rc Boat

The best way to correct this would be to pull the stuffing tube (the brass tube) out of the boat and to adjust the bend and reinstall it with some new epoxy. The original epoxy is a bit brittle so...

RE: Tower hobbies power vee vid 2s 5000mah

The power vee is a really nice little boat (it's the same boat as the former Aquacraft Hammer).

It's nice and stable and really good in choppy water with the subsurface drive. Be careful...

RE: AQ Motley Crew - Available briefly

Good to hear. Please post some pics when it arrives.

When you pre-ordered it, did they bill your credit card/paypal immediately, or did the payment not come off until after they confirmed that...

AQ Motley Crew - Available briefly

So I took a look at Tower Hobbies last night and they had some AQ Motley Crew's available in "Limited Quantities".

I didn't have any emailed electronic coupons saved, and I really do need to...

RE: Traxxas Spartan Brushless

You could always pull off the hardware after the ESC and motor go up in smoke and use the empty plastic hulls as course markers...

RE: AquaCraft Motley Crew Off-Shore FE Catamaran

Wow this thing looks good! I really like the tub design like the UL-1 has, and look at that water jacket...NICE!

The water pickup looks nice and foolproof (no gambling on a rudder pickup for...

RE: New hobbyking vanquish boat kit

Wow that's cheap! A 42" hull with all machined hardware for less than $80! No wonder they're already out of stock.

If they can sell this for that much money, can anyone explain why the...

RE: AquaCraft Motley Crew Off-Shore FE Catamaran

Thank goodness for that!

I was sold on this boat when I saw the first pictures of the development hull. Now with this theme, it's a home run (IMHO). The Motley Crue theme will be a nice...

RE: Tower Hobbies power vee! latest purchase

The Power Vee is just a rebadged Aquacraft Hammer EP - which is not a bad thing at all. It's a great starter boat, not the fastest boat in the world, but it's really stable, lightweight and fun to...

RE: Traxxas Spartan

Most new boats have a problem or two (heck my SV27 fried it's motor on the 2nd run) but that was a problem limited to only a few units - not ALL of them.

I think more troubling is Traxxas' habit...

RE: Traxxas Spartan

What's a Sparton? Did they change the name again? I mean it's not like the name is written down the side of the thing...oh wait, it is.

Maybe the 50mph on the side of the box was too...

RE: Traxxas Spartan

Well, if nothing else, this is an interesting boat to check in on.

That one with the camera was a nice video, but not particularly fast. Nowhere near the 50mph all the fanboys harp about. It...

RE: Traxxas Spartan

Yeah, it looked like it was going to barrel roll if you held it wide open for any longer. Maybe the batteries are too light or something. That thing looks dangerous...and not in a good way.

RE: TRAXXAS SPARTAN IN MY HANDS!

So do you have it...in your hands? You just said you did on the first post. We've all been waiting to see this thing, if you don't actually own one, why did you post to everyone that you did?

RE: RC Trimaran build

Back in the late 1960's Chrysler built some similar boats. They had a deep center hull, with 2 shallow hulls to the outside - they called it a "hydro-vee" hull. My dad had one when I was a...

RE: All-new brushless Traxxas boat in June, 6S capable, 50mph!!

At least they got a lot of free chatter on the forums about it.

Ideally it would be best to hit the market at the height of the anticipation - which in this case would have been about a month or...

RE: All-new brushless Traxxas boat in June, 6S capable, 50mph!!

It's been a while since I checked in with the forums.

The Traxxas Titan(ic) hasn't shipped yet? Wasn't it supposed to ship back in June?

I guess that's the down side of making big claims...
