well, putting the spring and string back together was easier then i had previously thought, and alot easier then everyone made it out to be, must be my manual dexterity, or just maybe i was lucky,...

ive taken it apart, the spring is intact, just the string came off the end of it, and i cant figure out how to put it back on there and wind it all back up. I knoe that it looks like a damn tough...

i broke my front knucles, so i super glued them, ran them in the toaster oven twice, flipped them upside down (because its the bottom part that breaks) and installed them, never had a problem with it...
