He can do it that way.. but he was doubting the tranny also... We just gave him that option without having to remove the engine, even though looking at the clutch with the motor attached...

ahhh good point... I forgot how easy it is to take the tranny out of the Revo.. and he will have access to the clutch without having to lose his current mesh.

talking semantics but... smoke and sound would be "subjective" and the temp gun would be "objective" because it provides a measured data. The subjectivity about the smoke and engine sound...

yep, that sounds like the clutch alright... maybe a broken clutch spring. Trying to think how to test it without having to take the engine off.... but can't come up with anything....

Let us know how that works out. I'm still iffy, but willing to try. I know that they way it's stonger, but It's missing a crossbar on the upper a-arm.
My next upgrade will be some aluminium...
