RE: Looking for Unionville 6' Beaver Plans

I have the plans (and the finished plane), but don't recall any rib templates that were part of the wing plans. Since the wing is constant cord, can you not make a tracing from the ribs that are...

RE: ST 90 Muffler

I have the Slimline Large Volume Pitts on both a ST90 and ST75. I think they are the best solution for the ST 60-90 range. The Slimline model is #6002. The package says it is for the ST90, but...

RE: H9 60 Size P-47 Thunderbolt-Build & Flying

Nemesis -

I am using the GP mount with a ST-75 and the TF in-cowl muffler. I found the supplied mount would not work with the ST without modification, so I just used the GP mounts that I have...

RE: Seagull "Zero Fighter"?

I have been flying the Seagull Zero for two seasons. I put a TT 46 in mine and it pulls it real nice. I did use all the stock hardware, but there have been several warnings about the brittle clevis...

RE: H9 60 Size P-47 Thunderbolt-Build & Flying

Not much activity on this new ARF from H9? I picked mine up past night and I agree the covering job is great, not one wrinkle. I have no previous experience with H9 ARF's, but have read enough to...

RE: robart is making spring air type retracts

Does anyone know the scoop on these new Robart retracts. Did they license the product from Spring Air or did Spring Air's patent expire? Seems odd that these showed up marketed by Robart?

RE: Super Tiger G51 should I return it??

Thanks for the feedback. I ran three tanks through at a rich setting before I leaned it out with the pinch method described in the manual. I had a MA Black prop on for break in.

Seems to idle...

RE: Super Tiger G51 should I return it??

Dar -

I just broke my ST 51 in on a test stand this weekend with an 11x6 prop. By the third tank of gas and going thru the setting of the high end needle, I was turing 13,750 rpm. Before I got...

RE: Super Tiger G51 should I return it??

You are both correct. I just bought a new ST 51 (China version) within the last three weeks. The manual shows a 11x6 as the largest recommended prop. The older Italian manual like the one scanned...

Here is a link to the J'Tec site that has mufflers for inverted applications. I plan to use one on my ST 90 in a TF P-47.

RE: which retracts for .60 TF P-47

Excellent choice!

I have a pair of the plastic Robart's for a Skyshark SBD and the metal Spring Air for the TF P-47. There really is no comparison. The plastic Robart's look cheap! I guess...

RE: So who is building a Skyshark 109G?

Good start on the G.......

How is the ST75 fitting in the cowl?
Are you going to use the TF in cowl muffler or something else?
Any concerns on running the 2-stroke inverted?
