Re: Uh?

Because he runs the other forum and he is the editor of Rotory Mag. I think he has earned the right to cross post.

Do Full Scale Helis use gyros?

Some real heli's have on-board computers that help do the same things that a gyro does on our small one. They are called SAS and a few other things, but they do more than just help with the tail,...

Well I would rather get PVC, and I will go in for that. For starters lets get together and check out the place and see if it's something we think we can do. It may just start with two or three, but...

Parking Lot

Ya, it's really close to 78 and 124. Go east on 78 from that intersection and its the third signal light on the left. There is a Movie theater and a drunk-n donut there. It's a left turn into it. ...

Dbow,

I am out in Snellville, so I am not sure how much of a drive it is for you, but there is a HUGE parking lot just off of Highway 78 that used to be the old Wal-Mart parking lot that is empty...

So where are you at? I live just off of 78, I mostly fly RC Helis, though I have a couple of planes, none of which are flyable right now, but I am always looking for somebody to fly with.

Opinions on Kyosho Caliber .30?

Oh, ok, I see what you mean. I took all my ball links off and checked each one and they all seem pretty smooth to me, I don't see a hint of binding anywhere, and it's all ball bearings throughout.

Ventures and Ergos and parts...

That is kind of what I figured, what will it set me back to get an Ergo mount, fan and clutch do you figure? And it sounds like there is really no need to change out the boom and blades just yet...

Ventures and Ergos and parts...

Ya, I kind of figured that about the heads and the mixing and wash out arms. They look very much alike, but if you look at how they are mounted to the mast, they mount up just a bit different and...

Opinions on Kyosho Caliber .30?

So what do you mean by binding? I have a Venture and I don't know what you mean. I don't think that I have any binding, also on the tail control arm, what do you mean by sloppy? It may be, but I...

I do believe your going to need some Revo, just start dialing it in and trying it. Start with about 20-25%. When you get it right you will know it, you will be able to pick it up and it will hold...

Problem with a Raptor .30 set up!

This is 100% normal for every heli, the tail rotor is trying to compensate for the torque, this in turn causes the heli to want to drift, in turn you have to tilt it a bit to the right to hold it...
