I'm suprised you aren't chewing up the 45 tooth pinion gear because you have a mismatch.

18 + 45 = 63

23 + 41 = 64

the batteries are probably the cause. The failsafe was probably sensing the loss of signal (or fading signal) from the TX and reacting.

loosen the glow plug a little (not much) and fire it up that way. Once you remove the ignitor, retighten the glow plug.

the spring should depend on the weight of the oil. GYNAIKAS recommends ~15 frt and rr w/ spring or ~45 frt 15 rr w/o

I think you're ok, just count the number of teeth on the gear. It should be 38 (according to pg. 6). if you don't have 38 teeth then you know they gave you the wrong gear.

They may not be...

The best part about the kit is because you built it (every piece, screw, adjustment..etc), when you wreck it's that much easier to fix.

I finally got to drive my car (18ss) last weekend and toasted first gear
note to self - if the car is rolling backwards, hit the brake, not the gas since the plastic gears will fail long before...

a bit more fuel means more chemical engry meaning more power

Were there performance gains...quite possibly, but engine...
