PS dont swap the gyro and trottle leads. Plugging the main motor into the gyro makes for an angry helicopter(and yes the esc will arm). Please dont ask how I know,excuse me while I change my shorts. ...

I wouldn't recomend the park 400 with the sr 2in1. The park370 is recomended to use the 20 amp speed control. The sr 2in1 is only an 8amp unit. I would not push it too hard. Just my two cents. Can...

Do you intend to use the sr motor or the park 370? If the sr 2in1 is good for 20 amps or more it will work fine.I was thinking the same thing myself.

use a bench mounted vise. If you can use a small piece of alluminum to protect the pinion as you press it on.

Park 370 inrunner bearings

The bearings are shot in my eflite park370 inrunner. Has anyone taken one apart yet? Looks like the case is pressed together.
I have a bad feeling its not serviceable. It has only 15 flights on it...

The gyro goes into the chanell you set up in the DX7 menu, usualy the gear channel....

I would start with an eflite mcx Schweizer 300C. Looks scale and is great for orientation training. Almost indestructable. Costs less than one crash on a .50-.60 size machine.
