RE: 2.4 receivers exposed to high heat

This is inexcusable. This problem appears to be popping up everywhere, with 8 channel receivers too. http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t427916p1/

Transfering models from 9C to 10C

Will it be possible to use the memory card in the 9C to transfer stored models to the new 10C?
Can you put a 72mHz module in the 10C to fly models on the old receivers?

Thanks!

9CHPS processor speed

I currently have a 8UHFS. When I use CCPM with 9252 servos, one servo channel moves slower than the other two when you move the collective very fast (switching servos around doesn't help). I have...

Can two batteries be the cause of my problem?

I have a 3 month old R138DP PCM receiver. 8 flights after installing a second battery in parallell into channel seven, the receiver started locking out. I sent it in, and they replace the ceramic...

sceadu

I don't have first hand knowledge since I haven't crashed it yet. I only have two gallons through it. From what I've seen, the part cost is very similar to the Raptor. To be honest, the two helis...

Yes

The Raptor 50 V2 is available from "grey-market" distributors. The stupid US importer has no idea when they will be available in our stores, and will probably even tell you there are no plans to...

Another question AMCross

Thanks for answering so fast! I have more questions since you think I should send in the transmitter. Do you tune transmitters or only receivers? Should I send in the two receivers also? (One is...

Cricket

I agree. I used to own a cricket more than 15 years ago. It is amazing how much better helis are today. To think that thing used to cost hundreds!! :spinnyeye
How on earth can you fly that thing...

Scary radio glitch!

Wierd thing happened today. I took my heli off the charger (4.8V 1650 nickel metal hydride) after a full charge. Went straight to the field. Gassed up, took off, and the heli started glitching like...

Anyone have this adapter?

I'm looking for an adapter for my Sceadu start shaft so I can use my Miniature aircraft flex starter. Miniature part #MIN4684-10. Everyone seems to be out of stock on it. Anyone got a new or used...

rotorgraphics

No, they are easy to put on. You spray the back of the decals with alcohol, and that allows you to move them around. You then keep squeeging out the alcohol until they stick. At first it seems...

My new Sceadu

Well,
I decided to get a 50 size heli for practicing new maneuvers without risking the Fury. I went with the Sceadu 50. Overall, the quality seems better than my brothers Raptor 50, although they...

YS 91

I love my YS 91. I run Wildcat 20/20 fuel - $16/gallon. The engine uses suprisingly little fuel, runs GREAT, and is probably stronger than the Saito 100.

True

I know what you mean. I fly my friend's Venture, and it flies incredibly smooth, not pitchy at all - just slow. My brother's Raptor 50 with NHP carbons is FAST!!! Faster than my Fury, but gets...

Anyone have a Patty Wagstaff and UCD?

I love the way my U-Can-Do 3D flies overall. However, I don't like the way it looks, and I'm tired of the expense and mess of glow fuel. I LOVE the Patty Wagstaff, but the wing loading is almost...

servo lock up

I just got back my 605s that Hitec turned into 5625 digitals. 3 of the 4 seem to work. The last one locked up in full deflection 5 seconds after turning the plane on! I'm scared to fly with the...

YS91

I have a YS91 with a 15x6 prop on 20/20 fuel. It spins the prop at 10,400. Runs super smooth and sounds great. I'm never going back to 2 cycle again!

UCD issues

I have flown my UCD quite a bit. I LOVE this plane! I have the CG 6 inches back. Inverted flat spins are awesome. Very easy. The trick is having enough elevator throw, and go easy on the...

RF noise ate my heli. HELP!

Did you mount the tail servo to the boom? I heard that can cause problems on belt driven helicopters because of static build up in the belt....

tank

Yes, the stock tank fits. You have to trim the sides of the former, and the bottom (if fuse up-side down).
I'll post a picture this weekend.

tank

As already mentioned on UCD posts on this website, many of us have the tank on the CG. For 3D, it is the only way, IMHO. It fits easily if you trim the former a little to make the space wider and...

Aluminum gear from TnT?

I need stronger gear for my U-Can-Do 3D to absorb the front of the plane when it drops 2.5 ft after the harrier landing (when I mistime the throttle a little). TnT says they don't have carbon fiber...

U-Can-Do what motor do you really need

There are three of us at the field with the UCD. We all are using the YS91. You could take me kids, but don't touch my YS ;)
