RE: Sig Mayhem 3D ARF

I had my battery mounted in the rear fuse about 4" behind the wing. With it there the plane balanced just at the edge of the 3D range listed in the manual.

RE: Sig Mayhem 3D ARF

I started the repairs last night and it won't be long before it's flying again.:D
But it will never be as pretty as it was before the damage.[&o]

RE: Sig Mayhem 3D ARF

I dorked mine on landing last weekend. It was rather gusty and on final approach at only about 5 feet high a gust hit the plane. A wingtip caught the ground causing the nose to hit. The plane rested...

RE: Sig Mayhem 3D ARF

I have an OS 1.20FS pump in mine. I mounted the battery (2000mah NiMH) in the fuse about 4" behind the wing. With the battery in that location my CG is about 1/4" to 1/2" in the 3D range listed in...

RE: Help! Servos not travelling the same distance...

I find that typical when using seperate channels for aileron and/or flap servos (also elevator). Just use the EPA setting to get the travel the same.

RE: tank - vent on a pumped engine

What type of pump is on the Thunder Tiger ? My OS 1.20pump requires the tank vent to left open as it's pump requires no tank pressure.

RE: HiTec Servos

I've been using Hitec servos since 1989 and I have had one fail. That was a throttle servo mounted in the wing on a profile plane and would get a unhealthy coating of exhaust residue after every...

RE: Sealing Hinge gaps?

IMO on the average sport flyer plane sealing the hinge gap is not required (unless the gap is large) and actually noticing a difference would be nearly impossible. When I first heard of sealing the...

RE: Sig Mayhem 3D ARF

The manual gives a large range broken into two segments for CG. Do you have it 1" beyond the entire range or 1" into the 3D range?

RE: presue nipple on botton of engine

It's to vent the crankcase and drain any blow-by in the crankcase. Don't plug it.

925 & 945 gears ?

Can I put 925 gears in 945 servos to convert one to the other or is there more than just a gear difference between the two ?

RE: Dynathrust propellers, good, bad?

I have used them. I presently have a 16x6 Dynathrust & Master Airscrew. They both work ok for my application but the Dynathrust is definitely heavier.

RE: World mocels ME 109 ????

The Global ME109 ARF is a .25 size I believe. I had one awhile back. I had a Magnum .32 in and it was fast, a .25 would have been better. Overall a very good flyer.

RE: NEED Regulator Cover of #70C carb body

Thanks for the reply.

Do you have a cost estimate on service to get that cover replacement as compared to buying a new carb body from Tower for about $60.

Thanks
