RE: spektrum dx7 and reciver ar500 PROBLEM!

My new AR500, bought last week, worked for one day. 2nd day it lost its bind and now I can't even rebind it. I took an older AR500 out of another plane and replaced the new faulty one. I guess...

RE: Hobbico Nexstar Mini EP 2.4Ghz RTF and Rx-R

I would like to know what kind of flight times you are getting with various mah batteries in this plane. Does a 2100 make it not fly as well? How about a 1500mah or is a 1250 really the correct...

RE: ultra stick crow video?

Yes, these were pretty good. The first video has the dive bomber landing in it! Not as dramatic as some have described, but still pretty neat. I think I just might go ahead and convert my MUS to...

RE: ultra stick crow video?

I found one that shows some slow flight and some floating landings:

What I really want to see is the maneuver where the person dives from several...

ultra stick crow video?

Does anyone know of a video showing an ultra stick using crow to do tricks? Before I go and convert my MUS to 7-channel, I would like to know if it is really worth it. A video of any Ultra Stick...

RE: LST2 with M11???

You can set the 3rd trim lever to switch the servo to full forward or full reverse. Set the step from 5% to 100% and assign that trim lever to channel 3.

RE: M8 owners

I just ran into this same problem. I can't believe that there are no end point adjustments on the 3rd channel!!! Did I miss it somehow?

RE: Hey Lefties

I am right-handed, but much prefer to drive so-called left-handed. When racing, I believe steering is secondary to throttle control. I prefer to work the throttle with my right hand. I have had a...

M11 pins 7 and 8

What are the two new pins for on the M11 transmitter module for? If I drill two extra holes in a Novak switch so that I can use it in my M11, what am I losing from these two other pins?

RE: firebird commander 2

Flown it three times now. Flies very well on calm days.

The ACT does work, at least when you are up high. If you did something stupid close to the ground it may not save you. I tried to put...

Outlaw flight times

The box says 10 minute flights, but I charged the 300 mah battery a couple of times and tried it without flying and get about 5 minutes and this is not full throttle. I was just trying to simulate...

How to order parts online?

Where can a person easily order OS parts online--other than Tower Hobbies?

Are some engine manufacturers better at providing parts online?

Duraplane vs. Hobbico Sturdy Birdy

I like the Sturdy Birdie better than the Dura Plane. I think it has more wing area. The fuselage is cut at an angle in the back and looks better. The rubber banded engine mount is great.

I have...

Morris Pen Knife first flights

OS 32 SX is the engine I used. I think a 25FX would fly it fine.

I made it pretty much per plans, except I installed a 6 ounce tank and I installed Hitec 225 MG servos through the outside rather...

Morris Pen Knife first flights

First flight: Scarey--too twitchy even on low rates. Needed lots of trim, mostly down trim, but it doesn't look like it on the ground. The instructions gave the setup in degrees rathter than inches...

Need pen knife setup info

Well, I guessed at the angles and went flying. I did put -30% exponential on all surfaces.

First flight: Scarey--too twitchy even on low rates. Needed lots of trim, mostly down trim, but it...

Need pen knife setup info

I've just finished my Pen Knife. I have an O.S. 32 SX on it. Balanced exactly as on plans. Weight is 3.5 pounds. The recommended throws are in degrees on the plans. What should the low and high...

New OS 30 Surpass

Zinger 9x4 = 12,000 rpm

Although this looked like a good rpm for this engine, the Speedy Bee flew too slow into the wind for my liking. I has settled on using the Zinger 9x5 with this plane and...

New OS 30 Surpass

OS .26 / OS .30

9x6 Zinger 9800 / 11000
9x5 Zinger NA / 11300
10x4 APC NA / 10800

These are approximate as I recall them. The OS 26 was well broken in, while the 30 only had...

Prop for .32SX/Pen Knife

Is there a Menace kit or do you build it from plans. How do you get one?

Prop for .32SX/Pen Knife

Eam201, if your plane came out tail heavy, why would you say that you would have been better off with a 25FX? You can always throttle back. Did you have prop clearance problems?

Thanks. I'll build it like the plans say to.

Your videos are great! They are part of the reason, I decided to build the Pen Knife.

What engine and prop are you using? I am installing a .32SX...

Prop for .32SX/Pen Knife

What would be a good prop for my Pen Knife? I am putting an OS 32SX on it.

Thanks
