Somethin Extra Kit w/Mods

I've flown my S.E. a lot, just finishing another because one crashed. (Water balloons in a cup rubber banded to the deck cause the plane to fly funny).
I did have the dowel glue loosen up once and...

Fox Engines

They don't carry many kits any more either, mostly arfs. That tells me the same thing. It depends on how much you enjoy following the crowd.

I've flown with a lot of Fox engines, including the 60. The 60 and 74 are in the Eagle series and are made a little different than the other ones. The 60 is available ringed or abc. I have a 60 abc...

Topflite Monokote trim tool - how to use

I've got one with the instructions and have tried a whole bunch of times to make it work but I always end up just using a sharp exacto knife. They say the Higgly one works a lot better.

Are there any engine manufacturers in the U.S.???!!!

Have you seen the 60 size engine comparison in the May MAN? The Fox came out pretty good. I have a lot of Fox engines and like them, and like the fact that they are made in the USA.

What iron on covering works for you???

I'm pretty sure Oracover and Ultacote are the same. It is made in England and Goldberg imported it. Now Hangar 9 imports it but it is the same. Someone will correct this if it isn't right.

I've had a couple of these and they are nice flying planes. My first one had a Fox .45 in it and it flew just fine, although most people would think that wouldn't be a big enough engine. I built it...
