WTB: Roll of Natural Solartex

I am in desperate need of a roll of Natural Solartex fabric covering. Even a partially-used roll will help. I have two vintage aerotow sailplanes that need covering repairs.

Many thanks,
Al M

Ok, now I'm really confused. At the top of this thread DR-1 said to rotate the front housing 90 degrees to the right, viewed from the front of the engine.

Shortly afterward, Cobra1 said to rotate...

RE: TOWER HOBBIES - THE WAL -MART of the HOBBY INDUSTRY -GOOD OR BAD FOR US ALL OF US ?

It's simple economics: supply and demand. Both W-M and Tower are mass merchandisers, meeting the demands of the mass market. If you need something really special, that only a small percentage of...

Has anyone ever published a "how to" article on those fabulous silk and dope finishes the CL stunt guys seem to take for granted? I have tried to duplicate those finishes without even coming close. ...

RE: Bridi UFO Build (all wood)

Dave,

Still neat as a pin! I might suggest you harden the balsa under the cables with epoxy or CA so the cables do not carve into it under tension. Also, why not clip off the outer portions of...

RE: bridi -birdys

Amen, Ed.

I got into RC in the early 70's with a used Lanier Jester/Enya 60 III. Learned to fly with it. All we flew back then were 60 powered Kaos's, Dirty Birdy's, and Aeromasters. Now,...

I am fortunate to have acquired these engines. I wouldn't think of using them on anything like a 3-D ship. They all look the same to me...ugly. JMHO. Sorry if I offend anyone. They will go into...

380 versus 480 motor - dumb question

I have a dumb question: how can you tell a 380 from a 480 from their physical dimensions? I just purchased a plane with a 480, but I am not sure whether it is a 480 or a 380. Is there any way to...

RE: Replacing a bent needle valve body in a Saito 56

The only asymmetrical feature on the needle valve body is the radial cross hole that is drilled into the axial hole for the needle. Somewhere I read that this hole should be directly below the fuel...
