Evolution 80GX muffler issue

HS225MG question

I have learned that the nylon 1st gear in both versions of the 225 have been replace with a composit gear.
When was this done, and is there a serial number that would indicate a recent version?

OS10LA fuel draw

Will the OS10LA, with muffler pressure, draw fuel form the tank located 3 inches from the needle? (tank will be level with the engine)

Rimfire 42-50-800 substitute?

These motors arn not available for a while.
What would be a replacement to power the Electifly 50" Edge through some mild 3-D?
I have a Phenox 45 ESC, and Equnox V.R. for 14.8V lipos.

I am building this plane.
The rimfire 42-50-800 motor will not be available for some time.
What would be a good stead with the about same power. (at least as much for 3-D)
I will be using 4s 14.8V...

There is no info on the elevator-aileron throws, or balance point.

SPRING STARTER LUBE QUESTION

I had a spring starter installed on a G38.
It has'nt been lubed.
Any special proceedure for greasing this thing?
Just pack some regular ole' grease in the bearing?
I bought a 2nd used...

After talking to Dick Bennett, of B&B, I was convinced the diaphram cover hole was the problem.
I made a "bridge" 1/2" wide, out of shim stock, from the top corner screw to the bottom corner screw,...

Traditionally, I run new, and/or reconditioned engines on the rich side for a while.

Replaced the new plug with anothe new plug.
No excess gas, or oil apparent.

Battery location

Would I encounter any "issues" locating the 1700mah nicad in my gasser approx. 24inches aft of the reciever? (near the tail)
