I have a original WH which I never had any heat problems with, a few months ago I upgraded to the Evo conversion, when I did this my Stock ST engine ran so hot even with the needles way out....

Kids yep, kind of tough to do much hobby stuff. my 2 boys are now 6 and 4 so I can start doing stuff again, I love the WH because my 2 boys can do it with me, it is so stable they both can drive it...

I just decided to go for a "cheap" engine upgrade and went with the Sportwerks 26. 7 port, it is rated at 2.75hp and 34000rpm. this is a direct fit with stock clutch bell and it it a hugh improvement...

you can also just replace the antenna wire if it is cut, you can get the wire at any radio shack or your hobby shop for about $2 or less

sorry I don't have the # of servo I have, it is one I just had on hand, but any high torque servo would be good, preferably something with about 100oz of torque or more, but you could use anything...

the bent rod is correct.
I added a high torque digital servo and WOW do I get good brakes, I can easily flip it on it's 2 front wheels when I hit the brakes, I would hightly recomend swapping out...
