Talk about bare bones. LOL Thanks for the pic. I like the Velcro too so that may be what I do too. Soon as I get the battery/radio hatch figured out I can cover and assemble. Thanks for the help.

I don't necessarily care about the speed of the plane as long as it's not slower. I was thinking it was a load issue. But if the engine responds correctly that would be the goal.

Pinch test is done at WOT, engine speeds up as it leans and if I continued would die. Thought this was standard procedure. Idle is fine, slight stumble from idle to WOT when the stick is slammed....

Started the build. Found that the eng mounts (wood beams built into the model) are 28mm apart and it is hard to find a modern eng to fit. So I will need to decide what I am going to use and then...

I don't know how close or different they are. I do know the tail section is solid, so I will consider ligtning or building up those. As for flaps, I think I will wait to see how the wing builds up....
