Futaba 6EXA setting

Can anyone tell me if you need the ch3 servo 'reversed or on normal' using a Futaba 6EXA for the esc on a V2?

The last time I used this radio on a eskybeltcp the ESC blew up and caught fire!

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I thought I would share my first impression of fly-in the Belt CP. I have never flown a rc helicopter before, this was my first experience. I've flown Fixed wing for about 15 years and the Impala...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I just received my Belt CP from RCHobby CN.com. I was impressed with how well the heli arrived from China ( I thought I was ordering from a US company). In any case there are no instructions with the...

RE: 2 Stroke engine mods for Excelleron 50

Thanks Mike. I've got a OS 70 that is in an old pacific aeromodels edge I can probably pull out. I thought the os55 would be a good option but I was concerned about
the cowl surgery for the stock...

2 Stroke engine mods for Excelleron 50

Wondering how folks have installed 2 strokes in this model. I am considering installing a OS.55.
This is my second plane. 1st died in a deep stall trying to show off. This plane flys great for a...

RE: cap 231 ex

It's one of the best aerobatic planes I have owned. I fly mine with a Saito150. It has plenty of power. Flew it for a while with a OS160 but I prefer the 4 stroke sound.
Tracks fantastic....

RE: Sig Four Star 60 cowl from scratch w/ inverted Saito 100

I am not sure if I missed your post. How did your 4 star fly? Specifically I was wondering if changing the wing incidence to zero had any ill effects?

RE: Has anyone side mounted their engine in a 4*60?

Thanks Scott for your reply. This is just what I needed. I am also going to add some balsa wing tips ( I will probably decrease one of the wing bays by about half). Also interested in having a...

RE: Has anyone side mounted their engine in a 4*60?

Thanks Badger for the info. That is one of my concerns is how the muffler will clear the side of the cowl? I guess I could try to fit a Pitts in there. You have any pics?

Has anyone side mounted their engine in a 4*60?

I am in the beginning stages of building my 4 star 60. I plan on using it as a intro plane for our club.
I have decided to enclose the cowl (along with modifying a bunch of other parts) but I...

RE: Phoenix Models Sukhoi SU-31 CG and engine Q's

Excellent job on the "re-kit". I especially like the drop shadow effect. How did you do the canopy?

Your assumption is correct. We used the Magnum .52 two stroke without rings. [img]

RE: Best 40 size Pattern plane ARF

I flew my Cermark Javelin II with a 46 fx during a "pattern primer" and did quite well. The plane is well built and very light. The engine has the power to get the airplane flying nicely but it...

RE: 109.00 60 size P-51!!!

Mine came with a Red plastic spinner. I believe its about 3.25 inches. I am actually impressed with the model considering the cheap price. The fuel tank has only about half the parts. I hope to...

RE: Vector Flight Xtra 300 66" is here....got questions though..

When you get the wing braces make sure you follow the instructions and sand them down to fit perfectly.
I measured before, during and after gluing and still had a 2 degree difference in the wings....

RE: VF Extra 66" Maiden Part Duex

the same plane. By adjusting out 1/4" throw the plane is now a...

RE: VF Extra 66" Maiden Part Duex

Bill,

Thanks for the input. I'll try reducing the throw in the elevator. This may help a great deal. My high rate isn't really usable.
I was also thinking of taking the weight off the wing...

RE: Best engine for WM Dago Red 46?

I think you want high rpms with this plane. Mine flew great with a OS 46. A Magnum .52 would be excellent as well.
