RE: How to beat a HPI Vorza Flux on 22.2V on grass using a Modified Rustler VXL?

I have owned both of these, as well as a few others. As others have said, it may be an uphill battle. If you are a much better driver though, you may be able to do it! Post some vids!!!

RE: Stampede at the Track (PART 2)

I was very impressed by the driving. I always figured the Stampede as a bit of, well, I won't say lol, but after watching that video, I have definitely changed my thoughts on it. Happy Racing, go...

RE: What people think about Redcat

Maybe you guys should look at things from a different perspective: The original post asked if Redcat 1/8 scale was any good, has anyone seen any at their tracks, and he had $300 to spend. He already...

RE: just bought a used truggy

I hear that the chassis braces are a must have, other than that, I have heard they are near indestructable.

RE: RACING TRUGGY? LOSI, XRAY, MUGEN?

Back on topic, buy the mugen. Why? All a matter of perspective, so look at it from this one: Everyone has a favorite, and a least favorite. Some love the losi, some hate it. Nobody ever has anything...

RE: OS vs TRX

I think people should be more helpful and know something before giving advice. The OS 18 TM is a good engine, not superior to the 3.3 though, and the header from the TRX engines will NOT fit the os....

RE: Why the AMA is not growing...........

Since this thread has some recent posts, and the fact that I just stumbled across it, I will add my 2 cents. I do not fly, I have rc cars only. 1st, clubs are still popular, look at the amount of...

RE: Converting my 4-tec into a drag oriented car

It has been shown that run time and top speed are not really affected by the 4wd as opposed to 2wd. The extra drag is very minimal, so keep the 4wd, any (and it will be VERY little) power lost by 4wd...

RE: Need help with spektrum

Well, all except for the braking is good. On the TQ3, there is a 50/50 or 70/30 setting for throttle/brake. Seems like the Spektrum is 70/30 setting only. Is this changeable? On the TQ3, it is a...

Need help with spektrum

I just upgraded my tq3 radio with a spektrum dx3 (older model). It doesn't seem to have as much servo travel as the stock radio, any ideas? I checked the settings, set to 125%, still doesn't seem to...

RE: Stumped!!! tried everything

I have a revo with the 2.5, resonator single chamber pipe. Would not idle steady, very hard to tune. I was using traxxas top fuel 20%. I used what little top fuel 33% I had left, problem solved....

RE: just curious if a REVO can race with Truggies

A center diff is fairly cheap, and I don't know why some idiots think a revo can't run with one. Accept the fact that a mt can and will beat your truggy, and it is not going to take $1000's. From ...

RE: Thinking of getting a jato.

Best for learning throttle control? I don't think so. 2wd requires backing off to get the front wheels to bite and turn, 4wd it is helpful to grab throttle so the fronts can pull you through. Very...

RE: Thinking of getting a jato.

Well, whenever you think you can run with me on a track or ANYWHERE offroad with your pos st, let me know.

My experience with rc goes back to 1988. If you knew anything, you would at least...

RE: Thinking of getting a jato.

I don't dislike traaxxas, I now have a tmaxx. The jato was fun, but the tmaxx is definitely a lot more fun. I will not ever get a 2wd st again though.

RE: Is Nitro RC Worth It?!

Nitro more expensive in the long run? I considered going back to electric, but I notice that esc's and motors (brushless included) can and do burn up, probably as often as a well maintained nitro...

RE: Speed

I hear that electrics are faster than nitro ALL the time. Have yet to see it. Anyone wanna race offroad and prove me wrong?

RE: Are there any RC stereotypes? (for fun)

Electric IS better than nitro. MUCH cheaper due to breaking less parts. That is what happens when you go so much SLOWER!!! LOL, just kidding.

RE: Thinking of getting a jato.

Me and a few friends HAD jato's. I have been into rc since late 80's. The jato is GREAT on road, in a straight line ( search youtube for jato vids, that is all there is). If you want to go offroad, I...
