Yep you can switch it back to glow fuel. Remove the gas carb and adapter and install the original style carb. Plug the crank case fitting. Probably want to advance the ignition sensor out to 32-34...

The simple answer is no. I'm not with Areoworks but I have an affinity for Saito engines and can tell you that the 150 is to small. Its about 25cc in size and a 30% plane would take a 50-60cc gas...

The engine has about 4-5oz of gas through it now and seems to start and transition to full ok....

The plan for this engine was to convert it as inexpensive as possible using off the shelf parts. Thus the reason why it took so long. It also went way over budget because allot of trial and error...

Tank empty. I would add some ply to the nose and reinforce the joints inside with epoxy. Just don't go crazy with the epoxy. Keep the plane as light as possible.

I have two of these, well one ECHO 21 that AV8TOR sold me and a FPE I got second hand. Both are converted to run alcohol. I get about 7500 - 7800 rpm with a APC 16x6 depending on the mix.
