I have one and its put together but not properly setup yet.
Im working out the turnbuckle lengths on the front for a good setup and using zip ties and an rc18 pack to power a sidewinder/42 combo.

Motor is small, so you can make it fit into a lot of other cars, an 18t will fit for sure, or you can pick up a 4200 for 20 bucks from castle anytime.
The lipos will fit in an 18t w/ very little...

I am going to keep mine much tighter this time out, as I burnt a donut hole in this last spur.
I just forgot to check it last time out and so no mgt action for 2 weeks.

I just figured out why I couldnt tighten down my spur gear screw. I dont have the friction pegs.

after a gallon and a half, my pullstart gave way. second thing to go wrong (1st was of course the steering servo). The supertigre engine is a beast for a stocker.

You can do a lot to a buggy in a month, no matter how old it is. But if you havent gone nutz w/ it, it should still be holding up well. Mine is. The SuperTigre engine is awesome for a stocker.

I think I have the same problem. I need to empty out the tank to make sure, but it looks like a line has been knocked off somehow.

Pro- I generally thinkyou are right, but I had used blue on mine and itdidnt come loose, but had shifted.
After the red, it is rock solid, and I dont plan on removing it for a long time.
