RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Now that it's summer it gets calm most every night here. I find that the jet climbs the best with the slightest headwind, probably about 2 or 3 mph. It will climb with very little ground speed which...

RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

I was wondering....How high have people flown the aero ace? I have the jet and tonight I had to have it up about 200 feet! It looked like a little F-22 up there. I could barely hear it. I took a few...

RE: Heli-Max AXE going left in hover

I fixed it. I put one turn on each cyclic control rod shortening them. Now I can trim it either way and the cyclic is very near and around center when hovering.

RE: Heli-Max AXE going left in hover

I have an AXE EZ. I landed mine on an ottoman and it because it had the training gear on it, it slid off and landed directly on the rotor head which broke. I brought it in to have it fixed and when I...

RE: AXE EZ vs. AXE CP

I just got an EZ. It says it's easy to fly on the box and that's its big claim to fame but it's only easy relative to helicopter flying not falling off a log!

Flying a helicopter is really...

RE: Heli-Max Axe EZ

I just got one too. I love it. I'm being really careful learning and after my second flight can hover pretty still nose out. It is amazing how fast you can get disoriented when you rotate even to...

RE: True Backyard Flyer?

That Speedwing thing might be a good option. That might fly well fast up high and slow down below the trees. My yard is completly surrounded by woods so that if I go over the trees I can fly out of...

RE: Helix or Havoc?

Get the Havoc. I just had huge problems with the Reflex and returned two to them. The Havoc is alot of fun for just a little money, charges faster right off the controller and is easier to fly and it...

RE: reflex yaw issue

Update. After all that, I decided to just return the Reflex heli, get my moneyback and went to a LHS and threw in another good chunk-o-change and bought a Heli-Maxx AXE EZ. NOW! I have a helicopter....

RE: Blade CX 2 vs Reflex

Change in plans. Went to the LHS and they had the CX 2 and the AXE EZ. They talked me into the AXE. I am doing my preflight training now and will probably do my first run up later today! I got the...

RE: True Backyard Flyer?

Yeah I already have two Aero Ace planes. I was thing of something more substantial that would still fit in the yard. I starting to think it's risky to fly a plane in there but then again the yard is...

Blade CX 2 vs Reflex

Since I'm going to return my defective Reflex heli's to TRS, if I get my money back on both of them I'm only about $70 away from the Blade CX 2. I got really good with the Reflex until it started...

RE: reflex yaw issue

Ok! I just called Spinmaster. The Manufacturing dates on both of the heli's are between October and Feburary (holiday lot). Louis, at spinmaster was very helpful and said I can either return the...

RE: reflex yaw issue

Ok so NOW THE NEW ONE IS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM! It started very faintly and has continued to get worse and worse. I DID NOT CRASH THIS ONE EVEN ONE TIME! Until of course it started sailing around...

RE: reflex yaw issue

I don't think it's junk, really. This problem might have had something to do with crashing it into walls over and over. I came up with an idea though. I might try and put a little turn and/or twist...

RE: reflex yaw issue

I just went out and got another one. It flies fantastic. And I think that I've gotten pretty good since trying to control the screwed up one. I also bought the havoc heli since it was just sitting...

RE: reflex yaw issue

I think one crash too many. Something has to be unbalanced with the rotor disk/Shaft. When spinmaster calls me back I'll post their input. I think I might just go get another one and chaulk this up...

RE: True Backyard Flyer?

Cost is only a problem it I'm going to kill it! My yard is 1 acre square and there are a couple of small trees on one side. The trees are about 15 feet to 20 feet tall and most of the yard is open so...

RE: reflex yaw issue

Hi all. I'm brand new here. I have always been interested in RC flight but the commitment in both time and money always scared me away and then.... I saw these really cool micro electric things that...
