Don't restrict yourself to buying from the UK unless your in a hurry. I just got a Dark Impact from Hong Kong via eBay -
around £80 including postage. OK, so you gotta wait a couple of weeks...

What do you guys usually set for the LVC on a 7.2v NIMH pack?
No cutout, 5v or 6v ??
Also, what do the LED's do when the pack goes below the cutout voltage?

cheers dude! Only run it indoors with a cheap Chinese 3800mah 7.2v pack my self and also found it a little jittery with 26/82 pinion/spur. Still waiting for 23/25 pinion pack to arrive. Let us know...

lots of people bust up the diffs. not neccessarily because they have brushless or not,
usually because they are done up too loose or tight, or because of accidents.
I don't think it would be fair...

Then rubber band a mini servo to activate the shutter - but you'll have to do it every 50 seconds or so, or it'll timeout.
