RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

I was the one that steered Aviator24 tot hat setup. Your gonna need a larger mah battery than that. At least a 2100-2200 mah with a good 20-25 "C" constant rating to prevent overtaxing your batteries.

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Pulled the Park 480 1020KV to try an experiment. I was able to bolt up a Turnigy 35-36 C 1100 KV turning a 10x8E MAS prop. This thing is absolutely ridiculous now. Its just another option. I had to...

RE: ParkZone P-51 Mustang RTF

Ground: Nice setup, I had the same one in my Mustang before I sold it. IMHO it is the best BL inrunner to use. I have used the AON setup but the 6 series beats it hands down. If I may pass a word of...

RE: Confirmed: New Parkzone Warbird revealed at SEFF

PZ Corsair Videos:
Video of the mid air with the test bird. This goes to show how resilient and stable this plane is going to be. It took a direct mid air that sliced the wing off and was still...

Confirmed: New Parkzone Warbird revealed at SEFF

Take a look at what was revealed at SEEF today. This has been a floating rumor confirmed by David Eichstedt of Horizon Hobby over on RCG. He stated that a new Parkzone Warbird wouldl be displayed at...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

2.5 inches or 63.5mm aft of LE. Trust me its easier to adjust it at the wing. I had to just slip a 1/16" or 2mm piece of cardboard under the 2 forward wing screws. (between the wing and fuselage). A...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

Part of the reason she wants to climb is because the CG is so far aft. I had to add weight in the cowling to partially offset this. The other half is because you need to decrease the wing incidence....

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

Link: Glad to see the setup I provided you is working. The reason you are having bent shafts is due to the prop shaft being so long with the prop adapter. Shave a few mms, get rid of some of those...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

Link: Looking good. Your on your way to a really hot setup. If I may pass some words of advice.
The location of your ESC is good just put it on the aircrafts right side instead of left. This will...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

I can run mine at WOT but I'm using a 9x9 prop and TPS Extremes. I limit to WOT to 5 sec bursts since the plane goes out of sight very quickly. The 3150 would be better suited and you could use a...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

Link: If you can take a "wattmeter" reading to see what your peak amps are. That 3700KV is even higher than what I'm using (3550kv). Those batteries are not going to be up to the task even with a 9x9...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

Astro, your absolutely correct, our planes are way overpowered. I just want others that plan to use this setup to understand that in this case the motor is determining what battery to use. I had...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

The reason I went to the TPS extremes was that the amp draw with this setup can exceed 40+amps. Those batteries you got I believe are only rated to 36amps. If you got a computer radio you could...

Yes, It will work with the stock ESC. Just plug the 3-wire into the throttle port on the rx. Program the ESC and thats it. What pinion do you plan on using for the motor shaft? The stock one does...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

Yep, it fit right in. The "outrunner" actually looks like an inunner with the same bolt pattern as the stock motor. The motor is a heli setup with 3550KV[X(].

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

I have this motor in my Spit, so the answer is yes and yes. Several questions though, what size ESC, battery and prop do you plan on using? This is a high power/amp draw setup. You'll also need to...

RE: GWS P-40 Warhawk

I have the GWS P-40 and it is a good flyer. The P-40 is much larger than the older generation of GWS planes and those powertrains are way to small. The recommended setups from GWS are under powered...
