I should also mention the problems i was having were related to the way the motor was mounted to the truck and not the motor or esc itself the savage flux motor mount just does not work with this...

well i found another plane to buy that i can fly while im building the p-51 its a carl goldberg piper j-3 cub for 250 dollars all it needs is a reciever and battery

well i would like to side mount it but the top flite p- 51 cowling is cut out for inverted mount thanks for all the advice im sure it will help when im doing the build and while im flying ill probly...

well this is my first glow powered plane and my first warbird but i love the mustangs and dont really have the funds to start out with a more basic plane and upgrade later so im always forced to go...

personally ive had a few minor issues with my 5.9 but nothing i couldnt fix with a lil loctite and a new plug ive probly got round 5 or 6 gallons thru mine. my 5.9 does run real hot but this coming...

ok thanks for the advice yea ive done a bit of research on the picco but i think that will be a bit more engine than i am looking for i think i would rip out the gears on my tranny using a picco...
