RE: Slow stick Forum!!

Camera looks like it has good potential. Way too much jello for comfortable viewing. You might try to mount it in some pieces of Dr Schoals Foot soles to help with that. Aiming the camera forward...

RE: F27 Stryker Part 9: Crazy DARK SIDE - Beginners to Dark Extremes

I have never landed my Stryker on pavement, only grass. But I've seen these plastic stick on hanging hooks used as skids on some wheel-less plane with success. Just stick them on to the critical...

RE: HobbyKing OrangeRx Futaba FASST Compatible 8Ch 2.4Ghz Receiver

Out of 15 receivers I've purchased, 2 would not bind at all. One, after a year or more of service, failed to boot up and after trying to re-bind it, it failed. I have never had one fail in flight. ...

RE: F27 Stryker Part 9: Crazy DARK SIDE - Beginners to Dark Extremes

Krylon makes H2O latex paint. Basic real colors. It will paint your Stryker without popcorning the foam. You can get a really nice paint job. Its hard to find, some Ace Hardwares carry it or can...

RE: F27 Stryker Part 9: Crazy DARK SIDE - Beginners to Dark Extremes

Just a note to remind everyone that you shouldn't get in a rush when building any RC plane.
I just rebuilt my stryker with a new fuselage investment and transfer of parts. Trick paint and...

RE: Rotor Concept Quad Copter HPQ-1

Well, ya just won't believe this. After countless unanswered emails and three actual contacts by phone with Patrick Le, each time promising to send me a replacement speed control, a new speed...

RE: Rotor Concept Quad Copter HPQ-1

Like I said above, another week goes by and no replacement parts. I just got through to Patrick and his excuse this time was the guy in the warehouse forgot to send it. I pleaded with him, this...

RE: Rotor Concept Quad Copter HPQ-1

Well its been another week since I was promised again to send me the new ESC. Of course emails and phone calls still do no good. This guy is a crook. Plain and simple, a crook.

RE: Rotor Concept Quad Copter HPQ-1

I also tried to dispute the credit card charge and was told that because of the way he presented his product and the fact that I did indeed receive the product I couldn't dispute the charge.
I...

RE: Rotor Concept Quad Copter HPQ-1

Lots of luck in getting a response from Rotor Concepts. I've sent emails for the last two weeks almost daily and no response. I've phoned about every other day and once got someone to answer and...

RE: Rotor Concept Quad Copter HPQ-1

Bought mine at the LA Expo last weekend.
One motor was turning the wrong direction, I fixed that but one motor will stop turning after about 20 to 30 seconds. After a minute or so it will again...

RE: Official Hobby Zone

Some motors have a description on them that is visible. If there isn't any visible numbers/letters than you might go on line to the maker of the plane and see if there is a parts list available...

RE: Official Hobby Zone

It could be something as simple as a bad connection on one of the three wires from the esc to the motor causing it to single phase. The crash could have broken one of the wires right at the motor. ...

RE: F27 Stryker Part 9: Crazy DARK SIDE - Beginners to Dark Extremes

Just in the process of building the Stryker. I'm not really interested in building the fastest Stryker in captivity but I do want it to fly well. I'm looking at a Optima 450 Brushless Motor...

RE: Slow stick Forum!!

OK SS flyers. Has anyone tried to mount a ducted fan on a SS? I'm thinking that it would be a hoot, just to hear it scream? The only reasonable ducted fan I can find is a 40 amp unit so I'm...
