Hey man, the clutchbell is not expensive. under $20. and the spring is like $5. After you upgraded those 2 things then you would be set. With a good clutchbell, you wont have the spur gear problem....

Yea chopper I'd get some threadlock asap. Im pretty new to the sport as well and have learned very quickly that if theres a screw somewhere, it needs to have threadlock on it. Get the Blue threadlock...

Well, the final verdict is that Mozzzy 2000 was right. I dont know how it happened while I was driving but my brakes were being engaged when they shouldnt have been. I've adjusted and now im good to...

ok sounds good. last thing i promise, i saw that i could just unscrew the shock nut up top. is that how i go about draining and refilling them? never done it before. thanks

Thanks mini! I would have never guessed that! one more goofy question! Do I just pull the shock spring down and put it on the shock sleeve and let the spring hold it in place? sorry!

you said that you have the two speed tranny? if not then you can use hpi part # A444. its a 44 tooth spur gear. thats what i use on my XL. It just has to be trimmed a bit and then its ready to rock...

Im not sure if mine are aluminum. They're white in color and are flexible. My car is just the basic tornado XL single speed.
