everyone here runs 1/8th scale ESC's and 3800kv or 4600kv motors because it gets up to 105*f - 120*f or hotter outside depending if we're racing on cement or dirt and 1/10th scale ESC's overheat if...

i looked into them but they say the ProLine is the "sport" model and can't really compete with race spec trucks. How do they hang with the more expensive and higher-end trucks?

yeah i don't wanna trade my $500 bike for anything less than an RC8 or Losi 8ight, even an 8ight RTR would be ok but nothing like this OFNA, reminds me of the Duratrax Raze too much, lol.

i looked up the Ravager, that's what it is for sure. I've had my fair share of Losi 8ights and even a Hyper 7 but i just wanted something to go bash around....

yeah, Colorado Springs is what got me into crawling. I wasn't able to get one while i lived up there but i got one 2 days after i arrived in Oklahoma.

yeah, i'd say 8/6oz is a litte much on an MRC, i was just trying to give a little example if you can't get your hands on inexpensive lead weights....

lead weights are expensive near me, $2 a stick to be exact. That's also for 8 oz sticks, we don't have the heavier ones around, so what we do is use solder. It's $3 for a spool of solder and each...

go to Wal-Mart, get a memory foam pillow (flat one, no hump) for $20, it's good enough for 4 foams AND they're memory foams :D

that's exactly what i had to do, lol. Not only does crawling take patience, but putting the damn wheels on requires it as well.

these Moabs are for crawling, which means they're adaptable to beadlocks...but i got them all on, just needed some patience putting them on

the Dynamite Tazer 15t is good for the guys who wanna stay brushed. There are a LOT better ESC's then the Tazer, but it's a good budget buy.

Red Cat is known for making crappy RC cars, parts are nearly impossible to locate for their products but they're also designed for the beginner in mind. None of their stuff is "competition" grade RC...
