Works just fine. But before painting you need to clean the muffler. You can use automotive paint remover. I prefer fine glass bead blasting. After the bead blasting the muffler might look like new.

MonoKote will stick to coating/laminating epoxy, if that's what you used with the fiberglass. Sure beats painting.

Perhaps It was because the positive red wire cell connection had the most cell terminal corrosion while the negative black wire cell connection had none on either...
