an exacto knife isnt needed to seperate the canopy from he fuse. i simple pryed mine of going around it wih my finger nail. on mine it seemed like they used a strip of double sided 3m tape. good...

wel in this situation i would simply mod it to work using whatever i could find handy. popsicle sticks come to mind. but for sake of repair and not cob jobing it id suggest looking for a tail boom...
