Digital Throttle Trims

Digital trim is a very good feature but I don't like the feel. It should be like the mechanical trims but with spring action to reset it to centre.

Yes it can be changed and I have done this on 10 new sets for a JR distributor. Its easy but cannot be explained... it requires a set to be infront and doing yourself, I think you can understand.

You need a electro-magnetic shielding. In fact the microcontroller of this HS-5945MG is not properly shielded... one more Negative Point goes to hitec :o

Its perfectly controllable design parameters. If the design uses comparators after the recovered PPM signal from RX and just befor 4015 decoder, then it can be completely removed.

Its normal but I think the radio manufacturers should consider this issue as this can strip the gears if the servo is already at its extreme end, mostly in throttle. :rolleyes:

Its is only good for first time training but there are other free sims that can serve the same purpose, like FMS.

I don't agree that the increased lenght will effect the back pressure much. If you use the correct size extension... I mean for 40 size engine use the recommended 40 size extension and with 60 use...

Silicon exhaust extensions/deflector really drops the sound level. I have tried this on a fox engine with good results and I think this is because of the flexibility in the tube.
