RE: Stampede Top Speed !

The Jato wheels/tires will mount right up. They even make the wheels with the correct offset to maintain the stampede's correct width, as the new stampedes all come with the 2.8 talons. I ran a set...

RE: Stampede Top Speed !

By doing the measure and count test my nitro stampede is hitting about 45 or so. I've still got the stock gearing, with the 2.5 upgrade and the T-Maxx wheel conversion.

RE: how much is it worth?

The dealer will only offer you what they can buy for at wholesale, or less. I've been seeing similar trucks going for anywhere from 2500-4000 around here.

RE: Revo starter question

Glad to hear it's working. If your ground wire come apart just solder in a bullet connector in the middle of it. Makes it a lot easier to work on the truck when you can remove the EZ start harness...

RE: R/C cars in movies and TV commercials...

Isn't there one in "Night at the Museum?" When he ties the bone to it and has the dinosaur skeleton chase it.

RE: T-MAXX 3.3 PROBLEM

I remember reading that the easiest way to get the tires off is to bake them. It crystalizes the glue and makes it easy to break. If you do a search on here you should be able to find some more info...

RE: 2.5 Stampede troubles

I decided a full tear-down was in order. The problem with the spur gear was a combination of 2 things: A twist in the rear chassis plate, and some bent screws in the transmission mount that were...

RE: traxxas engine support

Sounds like the dirt scored your sleeve/piston and is causing you to lose compression. Try taking the engine apart, giving it a good cleaning to remove any dirt particles, and replacing your piston...

RE: Opinions on a good grass car?

The Nitro Rustler is a fun little car. The Nitro Stampede is great for light bashing too, after a few upgrades (Wide RPM bumper is the 1st thing to get!) but the pro .15 can be a little sluggish in...

2.5 Stampede troubles

I've been having a bit of trouble with my 2.5 conversion Stampede. The 1st problem was that I was destroying axle stubs after about every hour of run time. After reading some previous posts I tried...

RE: What will Traxxas do for me?

I definitely agree that a well-tuned 3.3 is a beasty engine. A friend of mine has a 3.3 T-Maxx. It is still faster than my 2.5 Stampede, despite the fact that it weighs a heck of a lot more than my...
