but need be pure alcohol, no alcohol with high density of water.. water only allow to promote corrosion and doesn´t clean nothing..

here in my country is more easy because we can buy high...

well.. i got some of my engines running very lean for a error (wrong land adjust) a never had this type of problem.. for me, have more problems there..

but, about cleaning method.. i use pure...

mine standard, 12K rpm too..

excellent engine... very good power for a not schneurle type,..

I used mine in a Piper Clipped for .40 engine without problems of heavy nose..

o love high performance engines too.. but, my culture are smaller and more efficient engines (double overhead camshafts and quad valve per cyl), but i like the old V8 OHV...

but most Pylon engines are .46, correct?

180 exhaust degree duration have different effect in .46 and in .61 engine.. when is bigger, the engine need bigger exhaust duration usually..

yes.. i have a very high duration for actual setup of engine, that has a small carburettor venturi and small inlet/transfer ports duration..
But for .61 engines, i see that most with 170 to 178º...

I applied a tuned pipe in my K&B .61 baffled piston and i had gain of 1.200rpm in the same prop.

Is very important the lenght of manifold to the tuned pipe. Shorter manifold will result high...

Just for reference, i have a K&B .61 that has ported and polished sleeve, with 1mm bored carburetor. It´s run 11x6 prop to 14.700rpm.

When is standard, this engine only shows near 12.000rpm at...

I was think the compressio ratio of this engine is low, because has less compressio than my Fox ABC .40.

I really enjoyed the miracle plug. The start is very easy...
