If you didn't seal the motor up, do it. Back plate, and carb. I went through 4 of the stock motors before I just bough an Axial. When you do get the stock running right, it runs good. But they leak...

Seal the back plate, and the carb with Permatex black. those tower engines can have a wicked problem with air leaks.I went through three of them before I got smart and sealed it up, and it ran great...

Add a fuel filter to the line, and make the supply hose longer. this will give you more time to get to it and flip it over before it runs out of fuel.

I bought some Tower brand MED plugs, the ones they sell by the dozen, cause I was burning them up quickley in the first engine, but I'm still on my first plug in the axial, with about a gallon though...

hold on, I got a better pic, for some reason I can only up load one at a time....... With the wheelie bar in this configuration, it does the job, but doesn't seem to be as prone to breaking.

pics retry. 1,2,3, show how I changed the wheelie bar, # 3 is pointing to the weak spot I eliminated, and the extensions I took out are shown, you don't need them, I's stronger without, and it works...

Well I got the camera out after a fix it session, and found a way to make the wheelie bar srtonger, and I got some pics of how I re did my throttle return spring.

Jimmy, keep in mind that it's getting cooler outside, and you will have to mess with the carb to keep the engine running right. As for the carb sticking, I don't know what to say.
