I have a similar story with my ESM F7F tigercat. Swapping out retracts from version 1 to version 3.5. Never sure if my gear will fully deploy in either direction when I fly. Finally, the drive screw...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

Jett 60LX has been discontinued. The 56LX is the replacement, and is also the optimal Jett engine for this airframe. People on this thread have reported near 150 with that engine. I have the same on...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

The SJ60LX has now been replaced byt eh 56LX. When you order the former, Dub, will informa and substitute for the 56LX. The Jett website has not yet been updated. The 56LX is a monster of an engine.

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

The 55AX is just a great all around engine. You'd be hard pressed to find any plane thats not happy with it (as long as its an equitable airframe). I've seen a Jackal with the EVO 60NX and Blue Jett...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

Rendon,

I originally planned to use the Jett 90 LX because I had on needing a plane, but ultimately, decided to go with the 56LX. The 90 is too heavy, draws too much full for the tank size, and...

I am half way done with my build..still have to install gear and engine. Curious though, has any one taken a radar to this bird yet. I am curious what speeds we will get. I have a Jett 56 on my...

RE: H9 Jackal 50 Prop Jet

The jackal will weigh in closer to 9 lbs when completed, closer to that of the Cermark f16 prop jets. Can we expect the 56 to perform as well with this weight? I do agree about the 56 on a sundowner,...

RE: Speed Freaks Wanted- Over 200 Members already !

What about the Great Planes Revolver 40? Would this stand up to a Jett 90LX or woudl it require too much reinforcing?

RE: Speed Freaks Wanted- Over 200 Members already !

Hi My name is Kirk, and I'm a speed plane addict.

I've been flying a Cermark Alleycat/Jett 90LX combo for about a year now. I've radar'd it at my field at 138 mph into the wind and 151 out of a...
