RE: Spinner for Ziroli Zero

Don't know the Ziroli scale but Yellow sells a weighted spinner (and very nice struts and retracts) for their 1/5 Zero. BlueBox makes a full body pilot (Saburo Sakai) that is realistic.

RE: Japanese color documentation question

I’m sure that somewhere in the Mitsubishi archives there is a specification from the IJN directing that the upper surfaces of the J2M5 be painted N1 or some such color. What I don’t know is how...

RE: License of Lockheed aircraft?

Yes the SU's ability to swap ends is impressive, and useful too. If you're trying to shoot down Patty Wagstaff. You scruff off enough energy to do that sort of air show trick and the F-14 150 miles...

RE: For those who love World War Two Fighters

Here's a contemporary photo from my documentation package. J2M3 Raiden flown by IJN ace Lt. Yoshihiro Aoke (2nd from left). The project is taking twice as long as I thought, but soon...

RE: Japenese WWII planes

If you have deep pockets, Aerotech Models makes a beautiful NAKAJIMA Ki 94 "FRANK". Exact (we're talking Top Gun exact) Scale. At $2,000 it isn't cheap, but it builds much easier than the...

RE: Japenese WWII planes

Yellow makes an excellent Zero, as does Dave Platt. 3 Sea Bees used to have a Willow seaplane, and I think a George is out there but I don't remember who kits it. There are also several ARF Zeros...

RE: Var Pitch Prop for Large Scale Bird?

There's a blurb in one of the recent mags on someone who has modified a heli tail rotor for that purpose- think it was Fly RC, but I'm not sure.

RE: Vailly Fan size??

Thanks for the info. The Dynamax fan, by Jet Model Products is a perfect fit at 5" O.D. Because the Raiden cowl is pretty narrow in front, I decided I might as well make it functional. It's one...
