RE: Large Foamies - What do You All Think ?

For a flat foam using depron I think what would take people away from that is the price. I personally think people are used to the $50 range for these types of foam planes but that's just my...

RE: Where to buy 6mm DEPRON or Dow Blue core foam

I will also vouch for RCFoam, they are a great supplier and have added a lot of other things you may need while building.

RE: Shoot down airplane or not for noise???

C'mon man, even thinking about shooting someone down for whatever reason is just wrong and karma will bite you in the boots. Seriously, if you shoot him down, would you be able to say where the plane...

RE: Small Pusher Props???

Why are you worried about finding a pusher prop. You can use a regular prop, just make sure the numbers on the prop are facing forward. There is no difference between a pusher prop and a regular...

RE: The Nitro & Banana Hobby EDF F-19

That is a beautiful jet, but I'd want the airframe only since I have way too much stuff laying around from buying a lot of the planes out there that force you to buy their electronics. Hey Pete, is...

RE: Fast electrc jet set up??

First you have to look at what your experience is with flying, let alone flying fast. You'd be surprised at how many people who are new to the hobby want to right away go with a fast plane only to be...

RE: FUNJET

Hey b1b, how's your carbon Funjet project coming along. I'd be interested in a fuse or two if it all works out well. Definitely need a strong reinforced bird for the speeds we're wanting to take this...

RE: FUNJET

Hey Paul,
Do you seriously think your Funjet is going 130mph with a 3s set up on your Mega? You might want to have the radar gun used calibrated because you can't get that kind of speed on a 3s set...

RE: F-16 fighting eagle from famous

I take it this is the "Famous" F-16 that Hobby Lobby is selling? If so, is there anyplace else to purchase just the airframe. I've tried ordering airframe parts from them before and they've always...

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

Another thing to keep in mind when choosing is something called "Model Match". I didn't know this before, but found out through a friend who upgraded his Futaba radio with the 2.4 module. I thought,...

RE: FUNJET

Looks great Chippedprop! I haven't tried the speed motor, but I do have the 5100kv and 2510 3D motor and they're actually pretty good motors. Hey, what's that long wire you got going under the right...

RE: NEW~~~E-Flite Extra 260 480 ARF~~~

Oh man, what a tease aflipz! haha Well, glad to hear you're still having a blast with that plane. I definitely have to get one of those. Until then, I guess I'll just keep flying my 260, Acromaster...

RE: FUNJET

I would think its doing more than 95, or at least would hope so. I can easily get 95mph on a 3s set up. hehe I always laugh to, when I see people running with the Funjet to toss it. I've had some...

RE: NEW~~~E-Flite Extra 260 480 ARF~~~

I can't believe you're going to let this plane beat you that easily. Remember, height is your friend when a plane doesn't want to play nice. C'mon, very lite damage deserves another chance. Anything...

RE: NEW~~~E-Flite Extra 260 480 ARF~~~

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that would be 110. Okay, silly joke, but on a serious note, you'll be able to spin a bigger prop on the lower KV, but from what I've read, the higher KV is the...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Yeah, like that works rare_bear. When its affected me, I already do that. A lot of times you just can't ask people not to stand in the middle of the field and fly while others are flying, or don't...

What ever bass. When ever you see any of my posts, just go right past it. I'm currently on hiatus from my job so I could keep you company. Regarding the crash at your feet, well, if he didn't yell...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Here's something I'd also like to address that's happened a number of times in the past. Names being left out, there is a guy who is sponsered by a certain RC company who would often take off from...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

I don't know anything about that rare bear, but remember politics and money have influence over everything that goes on in our county. Personally, I think the powers that be are anxiously waiting for...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

I've heard by a VF rep that they are trying to turn this field into an AMA sanctioned field which would be great. I wish they would bring back the safety officers, but, without the authority to "Law...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Hey Scale Dail,
Its not so much that they are moving the electric area further north, they are just adding more stations, not removing the older ones. So, the field area is still the same which is...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

I have nothing but respect guys who care enough about their fellow flyers to play spotter or watch over the bench while everyone else is flying. That became more important over on the electric side...

RE: Sepulveda Basin

Hey Submikester,
I understand but I just wanted to point out that having spotters doesn't happen enough on both sides, but will admit, spotters are more often seen on the flightline which I find...
