RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

There air density is extremely negligible. I'm a mechanical engineer thus I know all about fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, etc. The air density changes by a factor of less than 1%. This results in a...

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

In Colorado a 13X4W. A 91 at this elevation would use a 14x4w.

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

I put Futaba s3004 on the five and a 3010 on the rudder with a 6V 1200 mAh battery. This optimizes for the price. Using a servos with 4.8V is a waste in my opinion. If you can get more power out of...

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

Thats a waste of good servos. They have more power than you need, unless your running a 100 in it.

Anyways a 6V 1700mAh should do it.

RE: Show your overpowered plane...

No beauty is in the torque for 3-D flying. RPM isn't what you need for a U-Can-Do

RE: Saito 72 stalling

It runs really good when the igniter is still on. I believe I will be getting an OS F plug to replace it with. I've been told that the stock plugs are only good for break in and thats it. Thanks for...

Saito 72 stalling

Ok... so I thought I broke this engine, but when I took it out for its first flight in my U-Can-Do 46 it stalled when going vertical (whew I love dead sticking it). The plane is 6lbs, was using a...

RE: engine question

I would use the Saito with an APC 14x4w prop. It makes a great 3D combo.

Batteries for DX7 receiver

I just recently found out that I will need to buy a new receiver battery due to running 6 servos on my U-Can-Do 46. So the new battery will hopefully be 6V 2000+mAh. Does anybody have suggestions on...

RE: Spectrum DX7 vs Futaba 7c (2.4 fasst)???

Also,

Should I get a NiCd battery or a NiMH? Does the wall charger have to be specific to the battery?

RE: Spectrum DX7 vs Futaba 7c (2.4 fasst)???

Would these batteries work with the AR7000. It says its for futaba, JR, and Hitec. I just want to make sure the connections are standard all around.

RE: Spectrum DX7 vs Futaba 7c (2.4 fasst)???

I will be getting the DX7 in a couple of days...so should I not use the provided Rx battery for my U-Can-Do w/ 6 servos or will I be charging it a lot more?

RE: U-Can-Do 46

I'm not sure if prop size is a problem. There are actually quite a few people who use a Saito 100 in their U-Can-Do 46. I personally think it is overkill. I'll look into the Saito 82.

U-Can-Do 46

I have just purchased a http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDUL8&P=MLU-Can-Do 46. My question is which engine I should put in it. It will either be between an OS 70 or a Magnum 91....
