Hey, I have a friend who has 2 LRP's, they run the best when they are at around 220-240. Run it a bit rich and you'll like it.

The bearing always goes first, if the bevel would get damaged on its own it wouldn't do too much damage to the bearing, at least not enough to bust it completely.

Check the motor mount and engine plate for cracks, those are the #1 culprit for stripped spur gears. If not your clutch shoes might be heating up the clutch bell soo much that the spur just melts,...

LRP .28 Spec 3 or Picco .28 P3 both awesome engines for under 200$. Thats about as fast as your gonna get your savage without breaking stuff all the time.
