It can be done. Take the shaft out of the motor and out of the housing bell. Roll the shaft on a flat steel surface. I use my table saw table. Take a rubber mallet and hit the shaft while rolling...

heres mine. I used a additional rear wing mount and made another gear strut. Attached them to the floats via wood dowels drilled for the struts and the top of the floats drilled for the dowels.

It worked for me but I used the motor in the SS kit. Go buy a $10 motor and get her done. Also I had to modify the servo mounts a little because the swift servos are smaller than most.
